depressed Ok, here’s the deal:
I have spent the last 2 days, from 8:30am to 3pm in the sun playing hardcore tennis. I am exhausted and I caught my mom’s cold.
It feels like my junior year is going down the tube.
I can’t take varsity orchestra b/c it’s the same period as the GIRLS tennis period. Oh no…being in the boy’s class period is out of the question! (are you detecting the sarcasm?) So instead, I have to be in the freshman orchestra. (LAME)
Here is what I am feeling right now:
-Pissed off, (b/c coach wont let me take the boy’s class)
-Depressed, (b/c I cant be with my orchestra friends, Except Stacey and Mari, b/c they’re stuck with me)
-Worried, (about not getting scholarships for orchestra b/c maybe I wont be able to have “orchestra 4” on my transcripts)
-Scared, (b/c I KNOW I wont practice, and im going to have to practice in order to get any of the just-varsity songs)
-Heart broken, (b/c i cant do both varsity orch AND be w/ the JV tennis girls)
-Sick, (b/c I have my mom’s cold and my dad’s allergies)
-all together in a bad mood, plus im sun burnt.
Orchestra was THE class I was looking forward to. It is my bright spot in the dreary school life. It’s my home away from home. Orchestra is my safe-haven. (Not to mention a total blow off class…though I guess we’ll do less in the freshman class)
but i guess it'll all be okay because i'll still be with the JV tennis girls.

y'know, freshman yeah orch and tennis were both 1st and 5th block? for some reason, mr jones (the orch director) let me singleblock orchestra. and then there was last year: my schedule said "see concelor" for my 8th block class. luckily for us ms henry didn't have a 7th block orch class, so we could all single block orchestra. and now... well, now we don't have much of a choice. the freshmen can't be THAt bad, and if they are, we can go to the practice rooms or just go to lunch or something. ms h won't mind. she hates splitting us up as much as we hate being split up.
oh, don't worry about the music or your transcripts. it's all gonna work, trust me.
and.. maybe i haven't been taking this schedule-mess as emotionaly as u have katie, but i think it's cuz i've always had a probl w/ taking both tennis and orch that i'm just satisfied that i can still do both. every year mr hill (head consler) tells me that i hafta chose between tennis and orch. every year he tells me i have to pick one. and i just wanna go as long as i can before i do have to pick one. even if it means playing w/ the fish.
y'know what i'v always wanted to do? play cello. maybe now that i'm in the fist orch, i can! oooh that's be so cool!! i luv the cello!! sorry, back to you:
